I was always chubby or a little overweight. It wasn't until my early 20's though that I really gained my weight. It was a combination of factors that attributed to my weight gain. Unhealthy food choices, sugar addiction, medications, laziness, and depression. Around my 25th birthday I had a revelation and decided to stop taking all of my medications and get healthy. It was a journey that took me two years but I did it. I lost 110 pounds. It's been about 5 years since that journey started and I know it will be a lifelong journey (and struggle) to keep in shape.
I love swimming. I love hiking and walking. I find that I enjoy exercising and making good food choices.
